Resumen
The company Cores Comunicaciones S.A.S. was born as a brand television production company in 2014, but only until 2021 did it decide to transform itself into an IAP (Internet Access Provider) in the municipality from Condoto, Chocó. The company has undergone significant expansion due to the effects of the quarantine, which increased the demand for home services throughout the territory. Currently, Cores Comunicaciones S.A.S. It has 5 employees: 3 assistants, 1 secretary and the administrator. Like any small business, Cores Comunicaciones has strong intentions to grow both in infrastructure and in its service offering. services, and even define its policies, values, mission and vision that allow defining the standard and focus of said expansion, taking advantage of the margin for growth offered by marginal areas from the country. The coastal, isolated and/or rural areas of the country have a Notable deficiency in terms of connectivity, whether due to a business decision or other factors. In these areas, entities such as Claro or Movistar, to name a few, provide mobile services, but not the so-called fixed or home services (television and internet). broadband). Due to these limitations in the national territory, companies called IAP appear, which buy bandwidth dedicated and assume the entire cost of connection and routing of the cabling or of the installation of antennas in some cases for transmission by electromagnetic means. These companies create centralized networks, normally on copper, where they provide bandwidth to users of your network. As the services offered and users increase, greater transmission channel capacity is required or, simply, take advantage of the existing electrical grid infrastructure, which raises the need to use fiber optic channels. The needs of improvement of existing service and demands for new services, such as television, raise the need to migrate to more modern networks, supported on fibers, which allows for more efficient use of the link with the service provider, which in this case is about 10 km.
