Resumen
This report consists of providing information about the internship process which took place in the Botanical Garden of Bogota "Jose Celestino Mutis" (JBJCM), in the Educational and Cultural Subdirection, and lasted 192 hours. The course of the internship was based on Project 1124 of Education and participation in a better Bogota for all; exactly in the topics of Social Articulated Management and Environmental Community Education. The topic of Social Articulated Management is supported in articulation strategies with the sub-directorates for the development of social management in order to strengthen the processes of participation and environmental education as a basis to carry out their activities. The topic of Environmental Community Education is supported in programs of environmental education processes aimed at social organizations and community actors, the Environmental Social Service aimed at middle school students, university for students who wish to undertake internships in the JBB and promotion course for environmental leaders. For the fulfillment of the strategies, the lines develop a series of activities focused on education and participation, through which formal and non-formal education actions are propiciated and the processes of citizen participation in the territory are managed. All this in order to encourage the social appropriation ofknowledge about biodiversity in the Capital District and generate a harmony between the individual-society-ecosystem relationships (Educational and Cultural Subdirection of JBJCM.2016, p15).
