Resumen
This text shares the memories of my teaching practice in the area of Art Education, understood as a space for meeting, expression, and shared experiences. My work focused on creating learning experiences that encourage sensitivity, identity, and teamwork through visual arts, music, and dance. During this process, classes, support in interest centers, and the planning of different activities became meaningful tools that helped students connect with their environment, understand their context, and develop their creativity. Each class was an opportunity to build confidence, empathy, and reflection about themselves and their community. The teaching practice aimed to promote integral education, where art goes beyond the classroom and becomes a way to understand the world and create human connections. Activities such as theater, body expression, and artistic exploration helped students link their emotions, knowledge, and daily experiences, creating learning that goes beyond technique. Throughout this experience, art is seen as a space for change and connection. Each planned class seeks to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression. In this way, art education becomes an important part of personal and social development, inviting students to see school as a place to feel, imagine, play, learn, and care for their second home.
