Abstract

The project "Participation of Colombia in the Carbon Reduction and Compensation Scheme (CORSIA) and the Green Business Model", is carried out with the purpose of identifying a potential participation of the country in CORSIA, this through a bid analysis and demand in terms of carbon dioxide generation, focused on commercial airlines, is carried out through a diagnosis where the national and international CO2 demand is determined, where two variables are proposed, by means of countries and through Airlines, it is worth mentioning that in this case the information was used from the 23 countries that most frequented commercial flights, and likewise the most used airlines worldwide. This project contributes to the attenuation of global warming, because the determination of the generated emissions and the supply that the country may have, is a strategy the country can have in the future reducing the impact on the environment, and generating different employment alternatives .
