Abstract

Currently in Colombia there are few laboratories dedicated to the preventive and corrective maintenance of geodetic and topographic equipment, not to mention that none of the existing ones belongs to a public entity, so the Agustín Codazzi Geographic Institute is in need of requesting this service to private companies generating surcharges and delays. Taking into account that it is of great importance that the institute can have the best geodetic and topographic equipment to perform a work of excellent quality; The idea was born to create a geodesy and topography laboratory that will be in charge of maintaining in the best conditions the equipment with which the IGAC counts, as well as its revision, preventive and corrective maintenance and generate the respective field reports and calibration certificates
