Apoyo administrativo al programa de deporte para la vida de la subdirección técnica de recreación y deporte de IDRD

Abstract

Taking as reference the knowledge acquired during my academic process in the Sports Administration curricular project taught by the Francisco José de Caldas District University, I had the opportunity to carry out my professional internships in the city of Bogotá D.C, at the District Institute of Recreation and Sports (IDRD). This entity belongs to the Ministry of Culture, Recreation and Sports and oversees managing the sports venues that the city has. The “Sport for Life” (DPV) program takes place there, which provides the Bogotá community with sports activities for people over 18 years of age to improve living habits in said population. The objective of the internship was to provide support to the administrative management in the Sports for Life unit of the IDRD in everything related to the tasks required as a Sports Administrator, to keep control of the scenarios and materials that the instructors have at their disposal to the community for the development of practices. My job as an intern at IDRD was to contribute to strengthening the program so that every day the community was provided with a better space for physical activity and sports, from the administrative side so that it worked in the best way.
