Implementación de un sistema de información geográfica que permita detectar problemas de orden social en la circunscripción especial para la paz del Catatumbo como apoyo al Ejército Nacional

Abstract

In the present work the social confliction treated like more important aspect in the Special Circumscription for La Paz of the Catatumbo, and as the affectations of social order aquejan directly to the community, it is worth the trouble to stand out that this zone is an epicenter of the conflict in Colombia and their condition for being border with Venezuela and to have an enormous biodiversity and great amount of economic resources does of this still more vulnerable zone; This causes that the population is itself immersed in a series of conflicts that limit their quality of life or by the difficulty to arrive at the zone, its constant homicides, massacres, its extensive areas of illicit cultures and drug trafficking, the well-known presence of illegal groups, among other affectations that are reflected there. These factors of instability are treated and analyzed in the intelligence commando of the National army with the purpose of obtaining truthful data and makes specific about the factors that affect to this zone with the purpose of implementing a SIG that is of future use for power and decision making to observe present behaviors within the zone. However, having the information and the data bases provided by the National army of Colombia it is come to the organization from the same one, focusing to us only and exclusively in the zone of study, for this is created GDB (Geodatabase) with its corresponding content within the Feature Dataset and the Feature Class where it is possible to demonstrate the variables to use, later a Dashboard by means of ArcGis is created online where all the variables are loaded, with the purpose of showing all the data of an interactive way throwing statistical and visual results to us. In order to obtain the results of focalización of confliction use is made of software ArcGis and its main tools, where in collaboration with diverse sources intelligence officers it is managed to obtain conclusions and analysis on the matter.
