Resumen
The main objective of this research work is to understand the school experiences of the boys and girls at the Restrepo Millán School based on the analysis of their stories. To achieve this purpose, it was necessary to understand the structural and significant dimensions of children's narratives, which would allow us to understand the transformation that children have had through their experiences. The theoretical elements considered for this research were the following: childhood, school, language, story, intersubjectivity and experience. In light of this epistemological scaffolding, a qualitative methodology with a narrative approach was built to facilitate the analysis process. Finally, the result was framed in three essential categories: affectivity as a fundamental component of the experience, discipline and the relationship between students and teachers, and recognition as a starting point for significant experiences.
