Abstract

This paper presents a compilation of the activities done during the internship at the Fundación Teatro Nacional from the 11th of February to the 12th of June-2018 in the area of art and scenic design of the education facility of the Teatro Nacional. Here we give a description of the development of the various tasks of design and construction of the scenic elements, everyone with their respective data like sketches, photos, schemes, drafts, etc. All of these in favor of start a job that could open doors in this work field, and gives a clear description of things like the conception of ideas in a collaborative space to the technical and material fluctuation of the final staging. The experiences and conclusions of the internship end up in a text in which I try to shed light to the problem of the scenic design being valid as an artistic manifestation with all the particularities of the conceptual and material work of a gallery piece, and how we can address these issues from the point of view of a creative person who is product of the fine arts education.
