Resumen
The purpose of this deepening project is to develop a didactic strategy focused on the development of digital communication and collaboration skills, which helps students in virtual mode to develop digital skills, focused on closing the cognitive gap. To do this, it begins with the analysis of the different factors that impact learning in virtual mode and generate cognitive gaps, that is, the assimilation of information and communication technologies; To analyze its causes, the study is guided by a methodology with a mixed approach that allows to detail the phenomena around different categories that clarify the conditions and perceptions of the students. The study results in the incidents that a didactic strategy based on Social Learning has, to strengthen or develop communication and collaboration skills; This is a new emerging alternative to interactivity and the social web. It is then intended that the strategy be adopted by the institution as a support tool for the students that are the object of this study.
