Reformulación de la Reglamentación Técnica de Productos de Mayor Uso en Instalaciones Eléctricas Colombianas

Abstract

The Technical Regulation of Electrical Installations (RETIE) is currently being modified. One of the most significant changes to be made is the division of this regulation into a General Annex where all requirements related to electrical installations will be found and an Annex 3 which will establish the general requirements for products used in electrical installations. The present work describes the products contemplated by RETIE in force and the new ones that are to be included, identifying them according to their functionality, specifying some of the technical requirements, as well as the international standards that apply to each product, stating the form of Certification of compliance with RETIE and presenting the different incentives that can be applied by those who wish to invest in generation projects with non-conventional sources of electric energy, mainly renewables.
