Resumen
This monograph is the result of the innovation cycle Pedagogical Project of the bachelor's degree of Basic Education with Emphasis in Social Sciences (LEBECS) of the Francisco José de Caldas District University, carried out in the Arts class with fifth grade students of the Rural School Pasquilla, in the south of the city of Bogotá, DC. Its object of study is based on the question, How to promote the development of historical awareness and construction with elementary students as subjects using theater as an aesthetic action? For this reason, in methodological and conceptual terms, the Theater of the Oppressed (Augusto Boal) is taken as the main theoretical-practical reference, articulated to the perspective of liberating education (Paulo Freire) and aesthetic education (Maxine Greene), relating the inmediate context location in which the students develop, for, by way of a work of memory (Elizabeth Jelin; Tzvetan Todorov) to promote the constitution of active, critical and indeterminate subjects, in the installation / appropriation dialectic (Hugo Zemelman). The above, framed in the action research proposal in education (John Elliot) based on a categorical epistemic thinking (Hugo Zemelman) and a non-parametric teaching (Estela Quintar). The fundamental contribution lies in the construction of a trans-epistemic pedagogical knowledge of knowledge, from practice, in the school and university environment.
