Resumen
The process of continuous improvement implies a profound transformation for any organization, from the adjustment of strategic objectives to the alignment of activities, therefore the Francisco José de Caldas District University in the transition to a process operation model, develops a project with the objective of updating the documentation corresponding to the different processes that make up the operations core of the institution. The value chain that represents the operation model by processes of the Francisco José de Caldas District University consists of 4 types of processes: mission processes, strategic processes, support processes and processes of control and evaluation; within the support processes is that of Financial Resources Management, on which this work is based and developed. In the first stage a diagnosis of the current state of the documentation comprising the process is made, considering the characterization, the procedures, formats, instructions and manuals that compose it, from this analysis the aspects that require modification, or In the case of addition, of course these modifications are subject to the approval of the process manager (Head of the financial resources division) and the process leader (administrative and financial Vice-rector). Subsequently, in the second stage, with the approval of the procedures, we proceed to the lifting of workloads to each of the officials participating in the process. In the third stage, the process evaluation mechanism is structured through measurement indicators. Finally, in the fourth stage, the risk map of the process is drawn up, from which the risks that may affect the correct operation of the process are identified and assessed, and improvement actions are proposed to mitigate.
