Resumen
In this project, research is being carried out on a model for navigating virtual resources, an immersive environment that uses tangible objects to manage the concepts of the collections and specimens in the Bogotá Botanical Garden. This study aims to use different technologies to provide a different way of presenting information about the plant species on display to visitors to the garden, to encourage interest in our vegetation among both citizens and tourists. Among the technologies that were implemented is the recognition of tangible objects on a multi-touch table, georeferenced data to offer users detailed information on possible routes through the garden, through a system of knowledge organization is structured information for better recognition and learning and finally makes use of software that allows you to generate the user interface designed to provide a usable and accessible environment with 3D models. The expected results are evaluated with usability and learning tests adapted to establish the progress and improvements during the development and completion of the project, which indicates the positive points and future work for the project in terms of the opportunity to offer a prototype that people easily recognize and learn with its use. These tests facilitated the collection of data such as time and number of errors and successes both when evaluating the handling of the application and learning the concepts and relationships established within the prototype scenarios.
