Resumen
This document presents work on the social imaginaries and gender roles that are presented in the transition curriculum in a public educational institution in the Capital District. The starting point is in approach experiences that refer to child development and sexuality, in that sense the concern is generated about how the early childhood curriculum permeates the construction of gender roles in boys and girls? In accordance with the above, a theoretical inquiry is carried out that includes considerations about childhood and culture, preschool and school education, gender and gender roles and to finalize social imaginaries in the educational context, understanding the cultural gear that permeates the construction of the subjects, in a qualitative methodological context and in general making an approach for the analysis from Grounded Theory.
