Resumen
This work presents the development of an ad-hoc network model using sensors for the detection of Toxic gases such as carbon monoxide and methane in residential areas. For the detection of toxic gases, MQ type sensors are used, because they can only be detected by sensors, since they are colorless, odorless and tasteless gases [1]. The project proposes to implement a system capable of monitoring the levels of carbon monoxide and methane in a residential area and generate an alert on the devices that are connected to said network and generate an alert remotely that reaches mobile devices through text message, an ad hoc network model will be used, in this way each node participates in the routing and sending of data to another central node which will act as a server container, thus managing the information dynamically, facilitating flexibility and autonomy, without prior network infrastructure.
