Abstract

Through the use of the DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Implement and Control), and with the Analysis of Pareto and Spina of fish, it was possible to determine the three types that more Contribute to indicators of material classified as waste. In the first Part of the definition was a general characterization of the process, the project Charter where the working group was established, the metrics the project, the Schedule of the same and the variables of the process. In the Measurement and Analysis was carried out with the help of the Excel VBA tool. Colombia with which it was possible to determine which of the types of Waste are projected as the Pareto of the problem, and with the help Of Fish Thorns were found the variables that were later In the Implementation stage, the proposal of improvement in the types of Waste: Rims, Cloth Tips and Paper Divisions, to help reduce By 1.51% the total of the waste produced in the generators.
