Resumen
The design of sewer networks is a branch that becomes relevant for the sanitary engineer, for this reason it is necessary to implement tools that facilitate their understanding and streamline the calculation processes, taking this into account, the CALALC tool is useful in the academic field because allows the understanding of the phenomena presented and the analysis of the mathematical procedures carried out internally in the spreadsheet, taking this into account, this monograph aims to update the CALALC tool in normative terms, evaluate its proper functioning and find improvement options for future network designs, for this, three stages were approached in the methodological development, processing, analysis and evaluation of the information, starting on the one hand with the normative changes in the country and their impact on CALALC's programming and later after modifications in programming, comparison of results with u na network of the Aqueduct and Sewerage Company of Bogotá and with a modeling in SWMM 5.1. Among the most relevant results, fourteen parameters were obtained to modify in the CALALC programming and after running the program with the base design, successful results were achieved in the network design, since when comparing errors, these were found to be considerably low. , it was determined that after CALALC's normative update, the results it yields are still accurate for the implementation of the program in the design of sewerage networks.
