Resumen
The research project arises from the difficulties identified in the ethnographic analysis. These difficulties related with the production of explanatory formal oral speeches. For this reason it would be worthwhile to know more about how oral skills are approached in the Spanish classroom, what skills or strategies could be emphasizing, and how or if this emphasis coincides with a broader view of orality. According to this, it was necessary to analyze whether all these tools contribute to the development of formal orality skills. At the beginning of this research, three objectives formulated. The first one related to identifying the importance of the context of enunciation, the audience and the communicative function of oral texts. The second was to identify how to implement activities in which students made use of reformulation strategies. The third and last objective sought to determine the influence of the use of the strategies to improve oral skills. It is also significant to take into account the relevance of the methodology, in which it described that the research focuses on a qualitative approach and the design of action research.
