Del monte a la escena

Abstract

From the Mountain to the Stage is a personal reflection on the contributions of my experience as a FARC-EP guerrilla and participation in the Corporación Colombiana de Teatro CCT, to my training as an actress at the Faculty of Arts of the Universidad Distrital ASAB. Here I mention some knowledge, skills and tools obtained in the guerrilla, the CCT and the ASAB and I elaborate a parallel in which I relate the most essential characteristics that, according to my own criteria, influenced my acting training. This reflection, in addition to mentioning some useful tools in the learning process and in professional practice, can also be a motivating source for people who wish to undertake their professional training at an adult age, since it evidenced the functionality of prior knowledge applied to professional practice; It can even suggest a point of view to be taken into account by professors in specific admission tests for higher education in the arts.
