Abstract

Maintenance is a crucial part of the development of machines in order to produce goods and services. The main function of maintenance is to maintain the functionality and good condition of the machines over time. At the basic level of maintenance management, corrective actions are performed due to unforeseen failures. Therefore, the need to adopt prevention or prediction of failure actions arises. In the National Industry of Soft Drinks S.A diverse drinks are produced among which the water is handled in a bag of 350 ml brand BRISA. This process is sensitive because of the quality it requires, the safety and maintenance management that should be given to the teams. It is necessary to develop an RCM maintenance methodology to give the process greater machine availability, anticipate and accurately plan maintenance needs.
