Resumen
Regulatory elements of gene expression, such as riboswitches, are regions of the stable mRNAs that allow the expression of some genes to be modulated in response to presence of metabolites or other types of small molecules, thus being the regulation independent of promoters in their transcripts. Given this potential response to metabolites, are a target of interest to study their characteristics and predictions in new genes with bioinformatic techniques. For this, in the following work it is intended perform a search for possible and conserved structures of the psbA gene with potential for modulate its expression of photosystem II protein D1. They were used under this work model species Oryza sativa, Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, Volvox carteri, Arabidopsis thaliana, Scenedesmus obliquus and other related species.
