Propuesta metodológica de preparación para la implementación de un ERP en pymes

Abstract

To be more efficient and competitives, organizations must create systems that facilitate their operation, integrate the organization, generate an updated and timely information for decisión-making. Some SMEs adopt Enterprise resource planning systems (ERP), achicieving systematize its processes, integrate some areas in the organization, provide updated information, eliminate unnecessary costs and achieve high levels of productivity. However, in the transition processes towards the implementation of these systems, organizations find a lot of difficulties, high costs and hurdles, that can even lead to the failure of the implementation Project; in most cases it´s due to the fact that they did not make prior and necessary decisions for the system implementation. The main purpose of this project is to present a preparation methodology that facilitates the process of implementing an ERP.
