Resumen
The focus of the study is the evaluation of the implementation of the Environmental Zoning Plan (PZA) in the context of the municipality of Curillo, in the department of Caquetá, Colombia, with the purpose of understanding its influence on the development and planning of the territory. The Environmental Zoning Plan emerges as an essential tool for territorial planning, playing a critical role in the sustainable management of the territory. This plan provides a regulatory framework for land use, the protection of natural resources and the promotion of balanced development in the municipality of Curillo. Given the ecological relevance of the region, it is imperative to ensure that territorial planning policies are aligned with conservation and sustainable development objectives. The main objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of the PZA in Curillo, understanding its impact on the territory through a detailed analysis of its implementation. This includes the plan's capacity to regulate land use, protect areas of special environmental importance and promote equitable development. In addition, it seeks to highlight the importance of community participation in the creation of this plan and to explore the possibility of replicating this environmental zoning model in other municipalities.
