dc.descriptionActualmente existen repositorios y bibliotecas digitales que dan acceso a miles de recursos cataloga dos y organizados de acuerdo a las descripciones de sus colecciones. Esta gran cantidad de recursos en su mayoría no tienen un alcance y/o visibilidad que permita ser consultados en su totalidad por los actuales métodos de búsquedas convencionales, como los son motores de búsquedas textuales. Bajo esta premisa, el presente libro plantea una serie de estrategias de búsqueda visuales a partir de esquemas de representación de conocimiento (ontologías y tesauros), mediante el uso de inter faces navegacionales que permitan mejorar las condiciones actuales de acceso a la mayoría de estas colecciones de recursos digitales. Para ello se utilizarán principios de diseños centrado en usuario y aspectos relacionados con usabilidad, con el propósito de explorar posibles formas para desplegar información dentro de una colección de recursos digitales alojados en un repositorio, y analizar sus diferencias con el fin de llegar a conclusiones que permitan identificar ventajas y desventajas de cada una de ellas para su implementaciónspa
dc.description.abstractCurrently there are repositories and digital libraries that give access to thousands of resources cataloged and organized according to the descriptions of their collections. Most of this large number of resources do not have a scope and/or visibility that allows them to be consulted in their entirety by current conventional search methods, such as textual search engines. Under this premise, this book proposes a series of visual search strategies based on knowledge representation schemes (ontologies and thesauri), through the use of navigational interfaces that allow improving the current conditions of access to the majority of these collections. of digital resources.
