Desarrollo de propuesta con metodología Kanban para el control de calidad en el proceso de fabricación de embalajes para el Transporte de Obras de Arte. Caso de Estudio AIRSEATRANS S.A.

Abstract

This monograph is a proposal implementing a Kanban quality control model for the manufacturing of crates and packaging solutions for Airseatrans’ carpentry division. This research has a mixed focus and its developed in three stages. The first one was the data mining with the purpose of quantifying the foundings, the data source comes from interviews and information gotten about the packaging systems used in European and Latinamerican markets specifying quality control methodologies associated to the Lean Manufacturing Method and the Kanban System. The second stage was to characterize the case and its use for carpentry shops, semi-structured interviews were taken, time and process samples were collected, this stage also had a mixed data source, where the muda (wastes) were concluded. Lastly, the third stage was built, main requirements and determinant facts were taken into consideration, so finally a quality control methodology Kanban card system can be implemented. This last stage had a qualitative research with an open formula, were focused improvement can be obtained.
