Resumen
The planning and programming of resources to serve health sector services are projected from the needs of health care to offering a beneficiary or user population of such services, seeking to maintain a balance and economic and financial sustainability with a high social contribution aimed at meeting the health needs of a population, becoming necessary to establish the variables that determine the use of these. And this must be done by developing a mathematical modeling that allows to project the needs and solve problems of resource restriction. This project introduces the application of a Generalized Linear Models (GLM), which aims to estimate the frequency of general medicine use of the health subsystem in a level I health entity, according to various user variables such as gender, level of education, region to which it belongs , status used, Type of Linkage, perception of services by users; where the general medicine service is provided in a set of establishments of the Bogotá health section of the National Police, using to obtain the results the SPSS statistical computing program.
