Resumen
Text composed of a scenic proposal entitled "The mud's daughters" and an essay entitled "A bet on cruelty, the silencing of bodies behind the imagery of the femme fatale". The first one is a monologue in two acts, adapted from the novel "Flor de fango" by José María Vargas Vila, with Luisa García and her Conscience as the protagonists. The essay, for its part, fully accompanies the stage proposal since it is not constituted as a justification of the creation but as another foundation that strengthens the theatrical adaptation. This adaptation arises with the idea of giving voice to female bodies that have been silenced. Accordingly, the scenic proposal is intrinsically accompanied by the essay because it is through said imaginary that, predominantly, the silencing has been reproduced not only in everyday life but in the multiple ways of making art. In this way, we make a bet to cruelty so that, through art, one passes from awareness to consciousness where an emancipated viewer in a critical way could breaks with those imageries and does not continue to maintain them as a way to subjugate or to empower women.
