Herramientas de apoyo mediante los Sistemas de Información Geográfica (SIG) para la estructura de las cuencas hidrográficas en la Dirección de Gestión Ambiental del Sistema Hídrico (DGASH) dentro de la Empresa de Acueducto, Alcantarillado y Aseo de Bogotá (EAB-ESP)

Abstract

This internship is developed in order to support the structure of the Directorate of Environmental Management of the Water System (DGASH), within the company of Acueducto, Alcantarillado y Aseo de Bogotá (EAB-ESP). Currently distributed by five (5) hydrographic basins known as: Torca-Guaymaral, Salitre, Fucha, Tunjuelo and abastecedoras. Each one in charge of the intervention, maintenance and cleaning of water bodies such as: wetlands and canals. Also of the drains and channels as: rivers and streams. This structure allows the correct assignment of functions within the EAB-ESP, thus giving a leader and a working group for each basin. The support in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), will be evident in each of the working groups of the water system management, according to the requirements of each basin. Also, having specific activities assigned for this internship, related to the management and analysis of geographic information in the ArcGis software and each of its Geo-processing tools.
