Resumen
This article aims to present the implementation of a fusion algorithm based on the Wavelet dmey Transformation, the transformation of the RGB colour model to IHS and the Principal Component Analysis together to obtain a new fused image from the Sentinel 2A and PlanetScope sensors corresponding to the Barranquilla Metropolitan Area, conserving to a great extent the spectral quality and injecting spatial information from 10 to 2.5 m allowing the generation of a final product in which changes in the different coverage of the scene are evident. When evaluating the resulting fused image from the Correlation Coefficients, ERGAS and the Universal Quality Index Q, outstanding results were obtained compared to conventional fusion methods such as Brovey's transform, allowing an improvement in the interpretation of characteristics, coverage and uses present in the scene. Due to its outstanding results, the algorithm can be applied to any other satellite image.
