Resumen
In recent decades, technology has transformed education by facilitating compliance with academic schedules; however, in many cases, its impact has failed to optimize other administrative and operational processes within educational institutions. Educational management faces several problems, such as lack of staff, disorganization and long waiting times, which affect administrators, teachers, students and other members of the institutions, generating dissatisfaction and unnecessary costs. Universal Learning SAS, a company dedicated to educational technology, developed for the Instituto Nacional de Seguros a series of virtual assistants with the objective of optimizing these processes, reducing the workload of personnel and facilitating access to key information. Initially, a prototype was created for student support, which proved its viability by handling around 100 requests in a short time. Subsequently, more complete versions of these wizards were developed, including one oriented to Moodle administration, covering tasks for different users of the institute. This document presents the development process, achievements, challenges overcome and recommendations for future developments.
