Abstract

The management system of safety and health at work is the development of a logical process and in stages, based on continuous improvement, with the aim of anticipating, recognizing, evaluating and controlling risks that may affect the safety and health the job. This document describes the report of the internship held in the company GMC Refrigeration sas on support in planning and development for the implementation of a management system of safety and health at work which took place in a span of one hundred ninety two hours in which carried out the verification of existing documentation and also not available within the company according to Decree 1072 of 2015 by which the Single Regulatory Decree Sector Work which in its sixth chapter is issued speak management system safety and health at work, this documentation was not available was conducted and updated. A policy of health and safety was developed in the appropriate work for the company and spread to all levels of the organization, establishing a commitment of the company to invest the technical, financial and human resources needed to implement the system. They were released the worker's responsibilities within the company and also unveiled the employer's obligations to comply with the OSHMS, were identified and classified all types of risks according to GTC 45, performing a risk matrix in which they could classify and assess the most relevant hazards within the company to carry out the surveillance and control programs. As part of the system is necessary to develop an annual schedule in which the processes and activities to be performed by the company for updating and improving the system of management of safety and health at work, which was conducted specifically described for this company because of its characteristics and economic activity, finally (qualitative and quantitative) indicators by which the structure is evaluated, the process and results Management System Safety and Health at Work defined OSHMS.
