Resumen
Due to the high mortality rate of trees in the approximately 140 hectares of the CANOAS ecological park, and fires that have been taking place in the park, a result among other factors of the aridness of the territory, it is desired to design an irrigation system, this to through a technified water network that contributes to the transport of water within the vicinity of the park. Located to the west of the municipality of Soacha, Cundinamarca, this low montane dry forest ecosystem contains trees and shrubs such as: chicalas, walnuts, oaks, hayuelos, guayacanes, cedars, chilcos, among other natives, which have a demand for water that Current conditions of the park do not supply and therefore this ecological restoration is affected, in a process that takes several years and that it is necessary to support with an efficient water network for irrigation and a response system against possible future forest fires.
