Resumen
This research presents the theoretical foundation for the development of reading processes, through the audiobook, in the second grade of the Colegio Gimnasio Vermont which, due to its educational approach, considers the importance and need to teach Spanish as a second language, although It is their mother tongue, it is a kind of particular bilingualism given the context. The theoretical bases are analyzed from seven categories: reading as a necessary discursive action in the development of the human being, reading through listening, language teaching, the audiobook as a teaching device, the Hypothetical Learning Paths (THA ), bilingualism in Spanish, learning environments. From these, a THA is built that considers the previous learning of the students and therefore hypotheses, objectives and tasks are created that develop and enhance the reading / listening processes. Finally, the conclusions place the reflection and the importance of carrying out a didactic study prior to teaching, since doing so significantly impacts learning.
