Resumen
Mobile mapping technology provides an efficient and accurate method for capturing road network data, improving several aspects of traditional inventory methods. By utilizing advanced cameras and high-precision GPS equipment, the project reduces data collection times, enhances accuracy, and optimizes operational costs. These data are crucial for territorial entities, as they provide a solid foundation for planning maintenance and expansion projects of road infrastructure, contributing to the socioeconomic development of the affected communities. The internship is structured into several phases, including field data collection, data processing, and comparison of results with traditional mapping technologies. Additionally, it promotes the transfer of technical knowledge to local professionals, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the project. This report outlines the work carried out, the findings, and the conclusions drawn, as well as the potential impact of this initiative on the improvement of road infrastructure and the quality of life in ZOMAC zones.
