Resumen
This report seeks to show the process of approaching the phenomenon of work burnout through research-creation, which had as its objective the creation of a literary story that narrated different experiences facing the problem, in a population of professionals in Bogotá. For this, within the theoretical referents, categories such as: Work, Human development, Work burnout, Quality of life, and Literature were considered. The research design is qualitative, descriptive and analytical in nature, with a phenomenological approach. A methodology was developed to carry out the collection of information called Dialogue of individual experiences. Nine women, professionals, who work in attention to populations from projects or social areas, aged between 26 and 35 years old, participated. The main result is the creation of a text called “Because it is Urgent, it is Important and it is for Now. Reports of experiences on work burnout in women", which contains a prologue and eleven narrations, corresponding to stories that show the different elements found in all the experiences collected, which show a diversity of effects, on the quality of life, related in the theoretical sources, in addition to many elements related to organizational factors, which can trigger the appearance of this problem. The stories show the consequences of current labor dynamics on human development. Exposing situations where work ceases to be a means to achieve personal and family goals, and becomes a barrier, a source of stress and negative experiences, an obstacle to personal and professional development, affecting not only health but interpersonal relationships.
