Resumen
The Exploradores del Patrimonio project was carried out at Colegio Esmeralda Arboleda Cadavid I.E.D. with sixth-grade students, aiming to foster a critical understanding of cultural heritage. Through three thematic axes personal and collective memory, cultural heritage, and territorial environment the project sought to connect students with their identity and cultural legacy. Over four months, activities encouraged reflection on family histories, traditions, and emblematic sites in the locality of Bosa. The project integrated a participatory pedagogical approach, fostering students' investigative, reflective, and creative skills. It revealed both tensions and learning opportunities related to coexistence dynamics and social transformations in the surrounding area. Despite logistical and interpersonal challenges, the project succeeded in strengthening students' sense of belonging and appreciation for cultural heritage, highlighting the importance of incorporating these themes into formal education.
