Resumen
The Tuparro National Park is part of the ancestral territory of indigenous peoples who make traditional use of its resources for their survival. However, the influence of the Western world, as well as evangelization, has led to the loss of ancestral practices and, therefore, has generated an imbalance in the use and management of resources, including the turtles of the Podocnemididae family present in the territory. Under this premise, the present research sought to formulate a proposal for agreements for the management, use and exploitation of turtles from the analysis of the monitoring of turtles that is carried out in the protected area, the development of social cartography with the surrounding communities, the analysis the level of anthropic intervention and use of the main rivers of the park and the preliminary approximation of the population structure of the loggerhead turtle (Peltocephalus dumerilianus). Four management agreements and four use and exploitation agreements were formulated. Among the management agreements, it is proposed to design a proposal for participatory monitoring of the turtles; develop own research processes; implement educational processes with the communities and define coordination instances to follow up on the agreements. Within the use and exploitation agreements, it is proposed to define beaches and / or sectors for the use of clutches and others for their conservation and some considerations for the use of clutches, individuals and hatchlings.
