The bicycle has a great impulse towards its use as an alternative means of transport in a city like Bogotá, where the supply of transport is insufficient for the generated demand, however, this means of transport requires an infrastructure and independence with respect to the automobiles and traditional transportation in the city. Currently several cities in the world have networks of bikemakers that meet this objective, in the continent cities such as Río de Janeiro in Brazil, Lima in Perú, Buenos Aires and Rosario in Argentina and Mexico City in Mexico are examples, however in some cases, faults in the construction processes or simply deterioration due to the lack of maintenance make these spaces present superficial problems in their pavement. The objective of this project is the estimation of the physical condition of the bike paths of Av. NQS in the section between Av. Primero de Mayo and Calle 80, as well as the bike path of Av. Calle 80 in the section between Av. Ciudad de Cali and Av. Caracas, to achieve this, the guide "Methodology for the calculation of the surface condition of the bike paths" was approved, approved in 2010 by the Urban Development Institute (IDU) of Bogotá and determined what types of damage occur and the numerical value that defines its surface condition was found. The data collection was done through the ODK collect application, and the data obtained in the field was tabulated. As a result, a map was obtained in which the surface condition of the road is shown and recommendations are made regarding important damages that are not taken into account in the methodology established by the IDU.
