Abstract

The planned obsolescence and the requirements of the users for the acquisition or renovation of one or more computer equipment is not clearly supported, therefore, justifying a change of a computer equipment based only on the perception of use or on the programs that are used for the development of activities does not create a knowledge base that supports a method for managing change, in addition the use over time is not clear, that is, a computer equipment with state-of-the-art technology can be underutilized, its exploitation and use is below its possibilities, it can also be the scenario that the computer equipment exceeds its limits, causing the development of user activities to be affected. The analysis of the equipment parameters works as analytics to support these change decisions.
