Resumen
This research aims to analyze, from a qualitative-interpretative paradigm, the social imaginaries that students and teachers have about peace, within the context of institutional pedagogical practices at the IED Paulo Freire school in Bogota. The analytical process was grounded in the theoretical framework of Cornelius Castoriadis, seeking to uncover, through in-depth interviews, what those consulted think, feel, desire, and do to contribute to the national imperative of building a culture of peace. This study highlights the importance of collective efforts developed by teachers and students in the daily life of educational institutions and the necessary attention that should be paid to them, as they foster unique ways of making peace every day
