Resumen
This paper aims to propose a methodology for a Distribution Systems (DS) with Distributed Generation (DG) Load Flow and Low Impedance Fault analysis. With ANSI standard, DIgSILENT PowerFactory simulation software was used for further analysis and visualization of related metrics. To achieve this goal, methodology has been stablished in 6 phases: 1) bibliographic review on DS with DG concepts. 2) analysis and selection of Load Flow and Low Impedance Fault case study. 3) scouting and parameterizing of DIgSILENT PowerFactory. 4) case study implementation with ANSI standard elements modeling and characterization. 5) simulation and identification of metrics related to DS with DG elements. 6) conclusions and recommendations. Within this paper, a bibliographic review on concepts and characteristics related to DS with DG, including Load Flow and Low Impedance Fault. Furthermore, as a result, the entry “Study Case” in the DIgSILENT PowerFactory software was used in the digital academic material found in Youtube Play List called Methodology for the analysis of load flow and low impedance faults in Distribution Systems (DS) with Distributed Generation (DG) under ANSI standard using DIgSILENT software containing eleven videos included in the development of this paper.
