La hoja de coca: de la reducción instituida a las posibilidades instituyentes

Abstract

In this degree work, it was sought to reveal the representations that are part of the instituted and institute social imaginary around a symbolic agent such as coca; In this sense, coca leaf crops are one of the great challenges facing Colombian society, since many families live to grow this plant and depend on it for the maintenance of their lives. For this purpose, Grounded Theory was identified as a research methodology, based on analysis as a primary source of information five interviews with leaders of the Coordinadora Nacional de Cultivadores de Coca, Amapola y Marihuana -COCCAM-, in this sense, this testimonies were contrasted with sources of information: documents, investigations, books, statements of governmental and social organizations, and mass media, etc.
