Determinación de los niveles de dilución apropiados para el proceso de clarificación según las condiciones específicas de la planta extractora de a ceites morichal

Abstract

The project, determination of the appropriate dilution levels for the clarification process according to the specific conditions of the morichal oil extraction plant, is developed at the facilities of the MORICHAL SAS oil extraction plant, located in the municipality of San Carlos de Guaroa , Meta - Colombia. The research that starts from the evaluation of the dilution levels of the press liquor, is focused on the determination of the dilution according to the conditions and equipment currently in existence. Taking into account that the dilution of press liquor in the current clarification process is not adjusted, being the factor with the greatest variation in the extraction, and responsible for a large part for the clarification efficiency, has a very high fluctuation and It is not optimal to recover oil by increasing the losses of the same, in this work it is possible to establish the level of dilution more suitable for the existing conditions.
