Abstract

The growth of the automotive industry over the last century, has brought a corresponding increase in demand for tires, which together with the lack of awareness and environmental policies have caused heavy pollution due to poor disposal of such materials and elements . In different urban centers cemeteries tires are out of use (NFU), which in many cases are disposed of improperly becoming a source of contamination visual, by outgassing, attracting disease vectors and becoming risk conflagration. In Colombia the problem of used tires is no stranger to the world situation, just take tours through the streets of urban centers and in view countless tires are left in public places in disuse. In addition to replicating recycling processes already implemented globally, it is important to present new ideas for the use of materials that cause social impact and also open up business opportunities, that is where the use of recycled material NFU competing with conventional materials derived oil, can cause an economic impact on the implementation of road marking devices.
