Resumen
The purpose of this research was to develop the conceptualization stage of a Geographic Information System according to Guevara, A (1992) applied to Environmental Education in Bogotá DC, in order to integrate and relate the information of the types of Environmental Education executed in the capital city in the period of time between 2002 and 2021, facilitating the visualization and knowledge of the projects and agents involved. The research is qualitative, based on a hermeneutical method and was divided into three main phases, the first related to the assessment of needs where the needs and expectations of potential users were identified through surveys, with the result that the main purpose of the tool is expected to be informative for citizens and academics; In the second phase, the technological requirements are analyzed, where a detailed list of hardware and software necessary for the GIS execution stage was made; Finally, the third phase is the conceptual design, where a conceptual model based on the 6 components of Environmental Education was proposed according to Zamudio, C (2015) for the implementation of attributes that allow the entry of integral information to the tool. Finally, it is concluded that both Geographic Information Systems and Environmental Education in Bogotá are topics little known to citizens, therefore a tool that is easily accessible and without restriction of use is required allowing users to approach information that has integration of actors, policies, processes and technology in the field of Environmental Education with an inter-institutional, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary approach.
