Resumen
The José Celestino Mutis Botanical Garden of Bogotá, in compliance with the objectives of the Environmental Management Plan (PGA), adopted resolution 242 of 2014 “by which the guidelines are adopted for the formulation, coordination, implementation, evaluation, 4 control and monitoring of the Institutional Environmental Management Plan PIGA” in order to apply continuous improvement and thus be able to comply with the EMP. This document is the final report on the development of the internship developed at the Bogotá Botanical Garden, carrying out activities such as: ● Monitoring and analyzing the behavior of water and energy consumption in the entity to identify possible improvement actions that lead to rationalization. of the resource. ● Carry out inspections of the plumbing network and light sources in order to notify possible leaks or damages that lead to an increase in the entity's consumption. ● Update the inventory of equipment, systems and implements of the hydrosanitary network and light sources at the entity's headquarters to identify the percentage of implementation of low consumption and high energy efficiency elements. ● Carry out management for the change of elements with high water consumption and low energy efficiency lighting sources at the entity's headquarters. ● Monitor the implementation of the Action Plan of the Comprehensive Sustainable Mobility Plan. ● Carry out activities within the framework of the "to work by bike" program in coordination with the IDRD (training, bicycle mechanics workshops, etc.) ● Update the Environmental Management Subsystem folder in the entity's sharepoint. ● Carry out awareness-raising actions (training, performance, campaigns, inductions, etc.), related to the environmental programs of the Institutional Environmental Management Plan. 5 These activities were developed in three months of internship at the Bogotá Botanical Garden in the Planning Advisory Office in the PIGA team, as a Degree modality to opt for the title of Environmental Administrator.
