Resumen
Currently, the dynamic environment that organizations face (globalization) has exposed the need for an increase in organizational competitiveness and, hence the importance of continuously improving their processes, methods and times thinking about the satisfaction of the final client. (Leming-Lee et al., 2017) The Lean methodology emerges precisely as a philosophy of continuous improvement based on people, with the aim of identifying and eliminating waste, seeking customer satisfaction in terms of quality, cost and time parameters. (Allen & Laure, 2006) In the present work of degree, it is sought to improve, through the implementation of the Lean methodology, the management of activities of common areas of the company Cusezar S.A. Initially, the theoretical bases under which this methodology is governed will be presented, as well as its main tools. In this part, an analysis of the construction sector will also be presented. Next, the current state of this process in the organization (diagnosis) will be identified, through an analysis of the value chain, supported by the value stream map (VSM) tool. Thirdly, the approach of the methodology and the choice of tools will be carried out in search of the elimination of waste and activities that do not generate added value. Finally, a model based on the dynamic systems tool will be presented with the aim of validating the previously identified strategies in the long term through indicators defined in conjunction with the leaders of the process in the organization. With this, the main conclusions and recommendations obtained by the authors will be established.
