Abstract

Due to the very nature of the Aixt project, i.e., modular and with incremental development, as the progress of the different groups or subprojects that are progressively linked to it, there is currently an overexertion on the part of the teacher researcher leader of the project, The researcher must make clear to each of the groups the same guidelines of what is required to be verified as a minimum in each of the different functions of the microcontroller models that are being supported by the project, without guaranteeing uniformity in the tests or validations to verify the correct support of such functions. The lack of an established set of functional tests can cause delays in the development of the Aixt project, since each developer will have to design and execute their own tests, which can be time consuming and error prone. Consequently, it is necessary to define and standardize a set of tests for the different functionalities of the microcontrollers that will be supported over time, to help uniformity, quality, and reliability in the process and in the development of microcontroller-based systems, as well as to streamline the development of the Aixt project.
