This project originates from the need for improvement in the English subject of the educational institution where the study was carried out, specifically for the fifth grade. For this, the design and validation of a didactic proposal was carried out with the use of ICT as mediating tools in the learning of the English language, seeking to motivate students through the use of technology in the classes so that they were interested in the learning of this second language and on the other hand, a methodological change on the part of the teachers where it was intended that they innovate in their pedagogical practice and take advantage of the resources available in the institution. In the diagnostic stage, it was determined that the verb To Be and vocabulary were topics in which the children presented learning difficulties, for this reason an OVA was designed whose content focused on the aforementioned topics and included the methodology based on the solution of problems so that students could apply what they learned in everyday life situations. The OVA underwent an expert judgment validation process in linguistics, pedagogy, and technology to determine whether the content and structure were appropriate for fifth-grade students. The results obtained were favorable and it was possible to conclude that the elaborated resource was appropriate and viable to work with the children for whom it was designed and fulfilling the learning objective of the topics contemplated there.
